Sun-soaked Provencal cooking at its finest, fresh seafood landed that morning, tender daube simmered in red wine, ratatouille bright with garden vegetables, and pissaladiere fragrant with caramelized onions and anchovies, all paired with the region’s celebrated rose.

Crisp roses from the hills above Saint-Tropez, Bandol’s structured reds poured tableside, pastis served the traditional way with a carafe of cold water, and champagne by the glass on a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean as the sun drops behind the harbor.

About This Trip

Ride the Roads That Shaped My Career

The Froome Foundation was founded on a simple belief: cycling can change lives.

Growing up in Kenya, cycling gave me opportunities that ultimately led to four Tour de France victories and a career beyond anything I could have imagined. Through the Foundation, we aim to help young people across East Africa access the same values that cycling taught me: discipline, resilience, confidence, and purpose.

This exclusive event invites a small group of guests to experience the roads that played a significant role in my own journey. Based at the beautiful Terre Blanche Resort in Provence, we will ride many of the routes I used throughout my professional career, including roads that formed part of my preparation for the Tour de France and other major races.

Guests will also have the unique opportunity to experience the atmosphere of the Vuelta a España Grand Départ in Monaco, enjoying privileged access to one of cycling’s most prestigious events.

Alongside exceptional riding, guests will enjoy outstanding hospitality, remarkable local cuisine, and the chance to hear first-hand stories from my years in the professional peloton.

Every kilometre ridden helps support The Froome Foundation’s mission of creating opportunities and brighter futures for young people through cycling.

Your investment includes a charitable contribution to the Froome Foundation. Payment details and tax-deductibility information will be provided upon registration of interest.

Your host,

Chris Froome

Chris Froome is a four-time Tour de France winner and one of the most accomplished Grand Tour riders of his generation, with additional victories at the Vuelta a España and Giro d’Italia. Born and raised in Kenya, he discovered cycling at a young age, a sport that opened doors he never imagined and shaped the discipline, resilience, and purpose that defined his career at the highest level of the professional peloton.

Beyond his racing achievements, Froome has remained closely connected to his roots in East Africa. Through The Froome Foundation, he works to give young people across the region access to the same opportunities cycling gave him, using the sport as a vehicle for confidence, growth, and brighter futures. This event offers a rare chance to ride alongside Froome on roads that shaped his career, hear stories from his years racing at the top of the sport, and support that mission along the way.

"Cycling gave me everything. These roads were a big part of that story. Riding them together, and doing it in support of the Foundation, feels like exactly the right way to share them."

Your Week In France

Day 1 with inGamba rolls out from Terre Blanche into the quiet hills of the Var — 28 kilometers that exist purely to remind your legs what they're here for. The route loops through Tourrettes, dips into the back roads above Fayence, and climbs gently to the village of Saint-Paul-en-Forêt sitting in the oak forest at 340 meters. Nearly 400 meters of climbing, all of it unhurried. The roads are narrow, the shade is generous, and the pace is yours to set. Think of it as Provence introducing itself — politely, beautifully, and with just enough gradient to make sure you're paying attention.

Lunch Dinner

Day 2 is the one you came for. From Terre Blanche the route heads west through Fayence, climbs through the medieval villages of Seillans and Bargemon, and then keeps going — all the way up into the mountains above Mons, where the road tops out at 1,678 meters with views that stretch south to the Estérel and north into the Provençal Alps. One hundred and nineteen kilometers. Two thousand, four hundred and sixty-three meters of climbing. This is proper mountain cycling — the kind where the air changes, the trees thin out, and the only sound is the wind and your own breathing. The long descent back through Séranon and Callian is the reward. Terre Blanche at the end of it will feel very well earned.

Breakfast Lunch Dinner

Day 3 saves the best view for last. The route drops from Terre Blanche all the way down to the Côte d'Azur — past Montauroux, through the Estérel foothills, and out onto the coast at Fréjus. From there it traces the corniche through Théoule-sur-Mer, where red volcanic cliffs fall into the Mediterranean and the road hugs the shoreline with the kind of shameless beauty that makes you slow down even when you don't have to. Saint-Raphaël, Fréjus again, and then the road turns inland — back through Bagnols-en-Forêt and up through the Var hills to Terre Blanche. Ninety-four kilometers, 1,348 meters of climbing, and a finish that feels exactly right.

Breakfast Lunch Dinner

For those who want one last look at the roads, there's an optional morning ride before the group disperses. No pressure, no agenda — just a gentle spin if your legs are willing. Transfers arranged to Nice Airport from late morning onward.

The Pro Experience

A literal WorldTour service.

With years of experience in the professional peloton, our mechanics and soigneurs bring WorldTour-level care to every detail of your ride. Up to five mechanics work meticulously each day to ensure your Pinarello is perfectly tuned and adjusted for you alone—not just race-ready, but dialed to your precise preferences. Meanwhile, our soigneurs draw on their own experience as professional riders to anticipate your needs before you voice them: bottles filled and positioned exactly right, ride food prepared and timed to fuel you through the hardest climbs, post-ride massages that ease tired muscles, and the kind of quiet, confident support that prepares you mentally and physically for whatever the road brings next. This is the care that once belonged only to the pros. With inGamba, it’s yours.

Where You'll Stay

Terre Blanche

Set on 300 hectares of unspoiled Provencal countryside, Terre Blanche is one of the most celebrated five-star resorts in France. Its 115 suites and villas are arranged across the estate like a private village, each one opening onto gardens of pine, olive, and lavender, with views across the hilltop villages of the Pays de Fayence. The scale is generous, the pace unhurried, and the light is pure South of France.

The resort holds Forbes Travel Guide recognition and has ranked consistently among the top golf destinations in continental Europe. For the purposes of this trip, though, what matters most is the setting: it sits at the heart of the Riviera hinterland, 45 minutes from Nice and on the doorstep of the roads we’ll be riding all week.

Evenings are spent at Le Faventia, the resort’s Michelin-starred restaurant, where chef Christophe Schmitt’s cooking draws directly from the markets and producers of the Cote d’Azur. The spa runs to 3,200 square meters, with treatments by KOS Paris and Valmont and every conceivable form of recovery on offer for legs that have earned it.

It is exactly the kind of place a week like this deserves.

FAQs

Am I fast enough?

Don't worry, this is our most asked question...

Guests of inGamba are passionate cyclists who love the sport and the lifestyle that surrounds it. Most of our community are experienced riders of all ages and various abilities, who appreciate great roads, fine food, and unforgettable company.

While everyone enjoys a challenge, no one’s chasing a pro contract here. Instead, the focus is on sharing incredible rides at a comfortable pace, soaking in the scenery, and enjoying the journey. You’ll find more “middle of the pack” and “social” riders than hard chargers at the front, and with our exceptional staff-to-guest ratio, every rider is fully supported, no matter their speed or style.
