InGamba is obsessed with every detail—especially when it comes to kit design. The 2026 kit with Q36.5 is finally ready to be released into the world, and we’re bringing you the behind-the-scenes of how the design came to be.
We first partnered with Q36.5 in 2025, and our first kit with the Italian clothing company was simple and sleek, with nods to an almost nautical theme that celebrated our coastal rides. For 2026, we wanted something bold and different, while still paying homage to inGamba’s roots. Award-winning cycling photographer and inGamba’s Creative Director James Startt had a vision to blend inGamba’s classic style with something entirely different—but a look that would deeply resonate with fans of cycling.
“For this year’s jersey, we wanted a new, fresh look,” he says. “At the same time, we didn’t want to lose the classic aesthetic of the the great inGamba jerseys of years past. So we went back to our our more traditional format.”
As a nod to past jerseys, the inGamba logo is proudly emblazoned across the chest, rather than down the back. “We also opted for the more vintage style of the inGamba logo on the leg panel horizontally versus up and down on the leg,” James adds.
But the big, bold 2026 change is the color. “We went for a new color entirely,” he explains. “We went for a blue that we called Belgium blue. This light blue has always been a key part of the Belgian national jersey, which was important to us since we have such a fondness for that country and iconic races like the Tour of Flanders. I’m really excited about the color: We really wanted a color that would a be distinctive, and I think this color stands out. I think it’ll look great in the pack, and it’s a color that I think is great for both men and women, and I think that’s important.”
Naturally, Italy had to sneak its way into the jersey as well, and James explains that we added a nod to our roots in Italy with an Italian armband.
To create this design, inGamba also brought back one of the original jersey designers, Andrew Reed, who did so many of our classic designs. “This jersey was a chance to bring him back,” says James. “He truly understands what we’re going for, since he’s designed so many of our jerseys in the past. He has a world of of experience in design, and it was such a pleasure to work with him.”
“Ultimately, it’s a jersey that updates the classic inGamba Jersey in a very distinguished way,” he says. “It updates the jersey, but also respects it. The people that we’ve showed it to so far love it, the guides love it, and I think all of our guests will love it.”
The kits will be available in both men’s and women’s cuts and sizes. You’ll receive a kit if you’re on one of our 2026 tours and riding with us, but they’ll also be available on the online store if you just can’t wait.
