Lead Guide
Moules-frites steaming in white wine and herbs, Flemish beef stew slow-braised in local ale, waffles eaten warm from the iron, aged Trappist cheese, dark chocolate from a fourth-generation chocolatier, frites twice-fried in beef tallow and served in a paper cone.
Trappist ales poured from the bottle, Lambic fermented wild in open barrels, Gueuze aged in oak, Jenever sipped neat in a bruine kroeg, strong abbey doubles and golden tripels, and a final Duvel — tall glass, tight head — as the peloton replays on the bar screen.
The Ronde. The Monument. The Legend.
There are bike races, and then there is De Ronde.
The Tour of Flanders is not merely a cycling event — it is a cultural institution, a communion between rider and cobblestone that has played out across the Flemish countryside every spring since 1913. Alongside Milan–San Remo, Paris–Roubaix, Liège–Bastogne–Liège, and Il Lombardia, it stands as one of the five Monuments of cycling: races that transcend sport and become something closer to mythology.
Now, inGamba takes you inside it.
You will ride the iconic roads yourself — the bergs, the cobbles, the climbs that have broken the greatest legs in professional cycling — before watching the pro peloton tear through those same roads at full race pace. Not from a distant hillside, but close enough to hear the chainrings and feel the wind of the bunch.
And you will do all of this alongside Adrie van der Poel — a Monument winner whose knowledge of these roads is not academic, but lived, earned, and deeply personal.
This is Flanders. This is the Ronde. And there is nowhere on earth quite like it in the first week of April.
VIP ON RACE DAY
As part of the VIP experience, you’ll have the incredible opportunity to ride some of the iconic routes and witness the live action from the pro peloton, guided by none other than the legendary cyclist Adrie Van Der Poel.
VIP HOSPITALITY at the race itself:
ADRIE VAN DER POEL
Adrie van der Poel did not merely race De Ronde — he won it.
A Monument winner across the cobbles and bergs of Flanders, a Liège–Bastogne–Liège champion, a UCI Cyclo-cross World Champion, and a rider who finished third at Paris–Roubaix on pure grit and instinct, Adrie is one of the most complete classics riders his generation produced. He is also, by no small coincidence, the son-in-law of Raymond Poulidor and the father of Mathieu van der Poel — meaning cycling greatness does not just surround him, it flows through him.
Riding these roads with Adrie is something different entirely. He knows every corner, every berg, every moment where a race can be won or lost — because he has lived them. Expect race tactics, inside stories, and a perspective on professional cycling that no podcast or documentary can replicate.

Your Week In Flanders
TEST RIDE - SHAKE DOWN
There is no such thing as a flat road in this special part of the world, but our first day is a relatively easy one, with a big descent, a flat ride and a friendly climb so we test those legs – and to make sure that your bike is working perfectly. If it isn’t quite right, or you’d like to fine-tune something, now is the time to speak to your mechanic.
The Muurs day
Today, we hit the roads to conquer some of the legendary climbs of the Tour de Flanders. The Tour of Flanders is a celebration of cycling culture, with fans lining the roads, waving flags, and cheering on the riders as they tackle the punishing climbs and bone-juddering cobbled sections. The atmosphere is electric, with the smell of frites wafting through the air and fan zones buzzing with excitement. This race truly embodies the essence of Flemish cycling, with its steep climbs, cobblestone roads, and unwavering passion. From the iconic Koppenberg and Molenberg to the legendary Oude Kwaremont, each climb is steeped in history and presents a unique challenge.
Roubaix Cobbles and Velodrome
Get ready for an epic ride on the legendary Carrefour De L’Arbre cobbles! This is the ultimate five-star secteur of Paris-Roubaix, the last stretch of wild, unyielding pave’ before the race hits the velodrome. While the old-timers and TV pundits always say to stick to the crown of the cobbles, all bets are off when that crown turns into a treacherous, grass-covered ridge. Strategy is everything here. Brace yourself, pick your line, and pedal like there’s no tomorrow! Afterward, we’ll ride inside the iconic Vélodrome de Roubaix, the most renowned cycling track globally. It is the ultimate culmination of the iconic Paris-Roubaix race.
Moules & frites in Blankenberge
Today, we’re going to ride all the way to the coast, to Blankenberge. Along the way, you’ll pass through sparsely wooded areas with birch trees and beautiful countryside landscapes, rolling hills, and quaint small villages. We’ll make a stop in Bruges. Bruges is a place steeped in history, taking you back to the Middle Ages. It’s a magical and authentic destination, ideal for a romantic weekend! The city’s historic center has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site, boasting iconic spires, cobbled streets, winding canals, and whitewashed facades. And Moules and Frites!
Geraardsbergen
For years, on the first Sunday in April, the Muur van Geraardsbergen claimed the life of one man, etching their name into the history books. And while this iconic climb is no longer used in the Flanders finale, it is still included in many other races, and remains etched into the history of the sport. It's barely one kilometer long, but it is one kilometer that you will never forget, as the steep, narrow cobblestone road remains a challenge for any and every cyclist.
Ronde van Vlanderen race day - GO VIP
Get ready to witness the thrill of the Tour of Flanders up close and personal! The Tour of Flanders started in 1913, making this year the 108th edition of the race (with no race held from 1915 to 1918). Known for its challenging twists, turns, and narrow cobbled climbs, the Tour of Flanders, or Ronde van Vlaanderen, is considered one of the best cycling races. While the route may vary slightly each year, the hellingen (hills) that characterize the region and the race remain constant, ensuring that only the strongest riders will emerge as worthy winners of this prestigious event. In the Ronde, only the strongest cyclists prevail.
Departure - The Last Day
This is our final morning together and after a leisurely breakfast, it will be time to say goodbye, or at least arrivederci, until we meet again. Transfers to the airport will be arranged by our hard-working crew but if you’re planning on staying a few extra days, let us know if we can help with reservations or a few recommendations.
The champion
The night before Eros Poli took victory atop Mont Ventoux he couldn’t sleep. It was not like he was dreaming of victory or even had the slightest idea the next day’s stage would change his life forever. It was just that it was hot. Unbearably, unsleepably hot in his less than stellar French hotel. His roommate had taken his mattress off the bed and was sleeping on the small balcony outside their room. And the man who would shortly become known as Monsieur Ventoux was watching football, Italy vs. Brazil in the World Cup final, to be exact. Italy lost. The following morning as Eros dragged his weary, tired legs out of bed and down the stairs, as there was no lift, James Brown came into his head. “I feel good, I knew that I would now,” he started to repeat over and over in his head. As it would the rest of the day. He felt good, and the rest, as they say, is history.
A literal WorldTour service.
With years of experience in the professional peloton, our mechanics and soigneurs bring WorldTour-level care to every detail of your ride. Up to five mechanics work meticulously each day to ensure your Pinarello is perfectly tuned and adjusted for you alone—not just race-ready, but dialed to your precise preferences. Meanwhile, our soigneurs draw on their own experience as professional riders to anticipate your needs before you voice them: bottles filled and positioned exactly right, ride food prepared and timed to fuel you through the hardest climbs, post-ride massages that ease tired muscles, and the kind of quiet, confident support that prepares you mentally and physically for whatever the road brings next. This is the care that once belonged only to the pros. With inGamba, it’s yours.
