Want to test out the same saddle that the top WorldTour teams are using? Meet Prologo’s latest and greatest saddles.
If you join us on a trip this season, you’ll be riding one of the newest saddles from the brand—the Nago R4, Scratch M5 and Dimension R2—and you will almost certainly notice a major difference in your speed and comfort levels on the bike.
Prologo’s saddles are truly used by the best of the best. This season, there are seven men’s and three women’s WorldTour teams that use Prologo saddles: Visma | Lease a Bike, Ineos Grenadiers, Bahrain Victorious, XDS Astana, Groupama-FDJ, Intermarché-Wanty, Team Picnic PostNL, Picnic PostNL and Uno-X Mobility.
Last year, Prologo saddles were on the winning bikes at Strade Bianche, Liegi-Bastogne-Liegi, Il Lombardia, World Championships, and stages of the Giro d’Italia and Tour de France. And that’s not even counting the Olympic medals that were secured on Prologo saddles!
Here’s why we know you’ll love them:
On our trips, riders are able to choose the saddle that they use for the week. With Prologo, there are three styles of current high performance saddles: the Nago R4, Scratch M5 and Dimension R2.
The Nago and Scratch both have a T-shape that gives more freedom of movement and positioning on the saddle thanks to the more standard sitting area. You’re able to to easily vary your position by using the entire length of the saddle.

Nago R4 saddles also have a semi-round shape to facilitate the rotation of the hip forward, while Scratch M5 are round saddles that also allow the pelvis to rotate naturally, creating stability and support for the lumbar region. But the M5 also has five foam zones that work in an intelligent and individual way favoring the normal pedaling movement both during pushing and pulling.
“The comfort is great and the power transfer superb, thanks to its solid platform,” wrote reviewer Andy Turner on Cycling Weekly of the Nago R4.
But you might prefer the Dimension R2, which the open channel designed to eliminate pressure spikes and numbness in the front area by improving blood flow. The updated model is 15 percent lighter than previous iterations but hasn’t lost its comfort.
These saddles have a V-Shape that creates an increased sitting area and great stability. Dimension saddles are flat, and allow for greater forward tilt and a more aerodynamic position.

So, which will you try on your next trip? It’s a hard decision between the Nago R4, Scratch M5 and Dimension R2 on your Pinarello Dogma F! If you’re not sure, feel free to message us to ask any questions and we can make a recommendation… or plan three trips so you can test each!
