2025 brings a brand-new cycling kit, updated bikes, and some exciting new trips!

If you missed the first inGamba webinar of 2025, you can scroll to check out the key pieces of information, from booking private trips to new bikes and kit for 2025 to a few great questions about rider fitness and bringing a non-cyclist along for the adventure. (And make sure you’re signed up for our newsletter so you never miss an update!).

You can also watch the webinar on demand here.

Booking Private Trips

Whether you’re planning to celebrate a major milestone like a 50th birthday or a retirement, or you just want to get all of your riding buddies together in an incredible destination, private trips are something the team  at inGamba loves to plan and perfect. In Tuscany at Borgolecchi, you can have a group of eight  for a private trip. And outside of Borgolecchi, we can host between eight and 14 riders per trip. We love being part of these trips, so if you’re considering it, chat with us sooner rather than later to find out more!

Bringing Non-Cyclists on a Trip

We often get asked about non-riders, people who want to come along and join their partner, but not ride. And the answer is yes, we can absolutely accommodate that and it happens frequently. Our trip groups are small, so there’s always a tight-knit family atmosphere, and whether you’re riding or not, you become part of that family. We typically organize an amazing concierge who will spend time with them, finding out what activities they are interested in, like hiking, running, or cooking, and hopefully pointing them in the direction of some possibilities during the riding hours. Of course, these non-riders are still included in the massage time, all outings, and all meals.

Gearing Up with Q36.5

We’ve had a great relationship with Q36.5’s founder, Luigi Bergamo , for years. When he decided to start the brand and do things a little bit differently, we knew he was onto something. 36.5 is the ideal body temperature, and his focus was on thermal regulation. But beyond that, everything about the kits is designed to be the best on the market. The chamois in all of the shorts is so good that there were certain WorldTour riders who were sending him their shorts from other brands, asking him to swap the chamois pads. For a few years now, we’ve talked about him partnering with us. We finally had the opportunity to make the switch, and we knew instantly that when we needed new kits, we wanted them to be from Q36.5. When you join us on your next tour and get your first Q36.5 kit, you’ll never want to go back. The quality is fabulous. Meticulous attention to detail which you feel as soon as you wear it.

The new kit is dark navy blue, with a bit of a maritime type of motif to it. We also did a special edition traditional inGamba red and white jersey for the first riders who will join us this season.

The New Pinarello Dogma F Fleet

Another frequent question is, ‘Do I have to bring a bike?’ or even ‘Can I bring a bike?’ And while certainly, if you’re dead-set on bringing your own bike, we won’t stop you, but trust us when we say, you don’t want to. You want to try out the latest Pinarello Dogma F, the same bike being ridden by WorldTour teams, equipped with the new SRAM RED AXS  groupsets, Prologo saddles, and Zipp wheels. The bikes are quite unique, and there’s not another touring group out there that is offering the same level bike that we are. We like to say that it’s similar to going to Italy and being able to rent a Ferrari to drive around Tuscany.

And yes—on many of our trips now, the Pinarello Nytro is available as an option. We’re seeing more and more usage of e-bikes, and it’s great watching couples be able to ride together and do these bucket list trips together even when one of them isn’t a serious cyclist.

Rider Fitness on Trips

This is definitely the number one concern question that we hear almost weekly. In any group of riders, there’s going to be someone in the front, there’s going to be a lot of people in the middle, and there’s going to be a couple of  more social riders. But it’s all in the same symbiotic wheelhouse, and we make it work. Sometimes, if the group is very mixed, some riders may leave a little earlier. We may break into two groups on a climb and regroup at the coffee stop. We pride ourselves on our team atmosphere. (And if you’re worried about preparing for the tour you’re signed up for, we have some exciting news coming soon on that front.)

Coming Soon…

For those of you who haven’t chosen a trip yet, this year, we would love to host you. Stay tuned for some new trips being added on the calendar. For those concerned about trip prep and fitness, we are working on having a training plan available for you designed specifically for inGamba’s tours. If you’re considering asking about a private trip, now is the best time to get on the calendar.

Finally, we are going to have our 2026 calendar go live on the site a lot sooner than we have done previously, so if you are thinking you can’t do a trip this year, you know, start thinking about next year! (Our Classics trips like Flanders and Roubaix fill up almost as soon as we announce them, so be ready!)
